A place to share, belong and heal.

Are you interested in substance use recovery?
Or looking to support someone you know?

We know that recovery is a journey, and the Junction is here for you.

We offer substance use recovery services to adults aged 19 and older.
These services are provided in-person and online.

All services are free.

We are non-judgemental and inclusive of all. We know that long- term recovery comes with long- term health and wellness and we’re here to support people along their journey – for as long as they need. Everyone is welcome here.

What you can expect

You can participate in free recovery services in-person at a Junction near you, or online. Everything we do is centred on people who have used or are using substances. You’ll be welcomed and included by people with lived and living experience (PWLLE) who understand that everyone has a different recovery journey.

Our group sessions offer lots of different kinds of support, including:

  • Health and wellness activities
  • Social events and peer support
  • Guidance and referrals to healthcare, harm reduction and recovery services

We also offer one-to-one support led by recovery navigators and peers with lived experience of substance use and recovery.

The Junction is open to every person.

All who want to be part of the Junction are welcome, regardless of life circumstances, sobriety status, recovery goals, identity or stage of change. The Junction is abstinence-supportive but it is not abstinence-based. Sobriety and abstinence are not required to attend or participate.

We are welcoming and inclusive of Indigenous people and people who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. All care is culturally safe and trauma- and violence-informed.

How to participate

It’s easy to attend the Junction. No referral is needed. If you want to come to a session, you can register for it below. Some sessions are also open for drop-in without registration.

All sessions are open to anyone who:

  • Is 19 years or older
  • Has experience with substance use
  • Is in recovery or is recovery curious
